Elena joined MA in October 2000. She graduated in Law at the University of Barcelona. She obtained a Masters degree in Shipping Law by the Barcelona Bar Association.

She is the head of the Recovery Claims Department. Her main areas of expertise are international trade, shipping, CMR and aviation, as well as insurance and cargo resolution of disputes in out-of- court negotiations.

She is a member of the Norwegian - Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Barcelona Bar Association (Maritime Section), and member of the Committee of Maritime Law of Catalonia (a part of the Spanish MLA).
